The Victorian Scout Bushwalking Support Team is a Victorian Branch adventurous activities team which supports youth members and Leaders in bushwalking. This support is in the form of...

  • training for Leaders or Youth
  • the provision of resources
  • ideas of where to go and what to do
  • hire of equipment, for example GPSs
  • advice and assistance to undertake new locations and activities.

All of the team members are active Leaders in Scouting and are led by the Branch Activity Leader -Bushwalking.

BushwalkingThe Bushwalking Support Team also runs a walking club called the Scout Bushwalkers, who undertake regular walks of all sorts intended for adults in Scouting, their friends and families. This is a chance for Leaders to gain some experience without their youth members in attendance, and a chance to spend some time in the bush with other leaders in the same situation.

The Bushwalking Support Team is a member of Bushwalking Victoria.
